Plumber – Hospitality & Hotel (Westlands, Kenya)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join our hospitality team in Westlands, Kenya. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and water filtration systems across our hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, tanks, and pumps.
• Service and repair water supply and drainage networks to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Install, configure, and service water filtration and purification equipment, monitoring water quality and replacing media as needed.
• Diagnose faults such as leaks, blockages, or pressure issues and execute effective repairs.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and schematics to plan installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and material usage.
• Communicate progress and technical updates to clients and supervisors.

Required profile

• Certificate in Plumbing or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on plumbing experience, preferably with water filtration systems.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
