Procurement, Fleet & Facilities Officer – East Africa

About the role

The role supervises administration and support functions across the East Africa region, including property management, licensing, security, company fleet, procurement, capex forecasting and projects. It requires regular interaction with staff, customers and vendors, demanding a positive and professional attitude at all times. The officer will travel across the region to ensure service standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regional property contracts, licensing, registrations and maintenance of all Rentokil Initial facilities.
• Lead fleet procurement, maintenance, licensing, insurance renewal and cost‑control initiatives.
• Develop and implement security strategies, oversee budgets and maintain relationships with local authorities and third‑party contractors.
• Oversee procurement processes, vendor due diligence, supplier negotiations and cost optimisation.
• Prepare and present capex forecasts, monitor expenses and drive cost‑reduction projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a fast‑paced administrative/operations role with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong financial acumen, including capex forecasting and expense monitoring.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning and cross‑functional team‑building abilities.
