Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, and inventory optimization for a retail and large‑scale distribution partner. The role focuses on developing cost‑effective purchasing strategies while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to guide strategic sourcing decisions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Conduct cost analyses and benchmark procurement performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Implement risk‑management procedures for supply chain and procurement.
• Supervise and support the procurement team.
• Work closely with legal and finance teams on contracts and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
