About the role
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, and inventory optimization for a retail and large‑scale distribution partner. The role focuses on developing cost‑effective purchasing strategies while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to guide strategic sourcing decisions.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure product availability.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct cost analyses and benchmark procurement performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Implement risk‑management procedures for supply chain and procurement.
- Supervise and support the procurement team.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams on contracts and compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
