Procurement Officer – Hospitality & Hotel

About the role

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing food, beverages, hotel supplies, equipment and other items required for daily operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase food, beverages, hotel supplies, equipment, and other required items.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores and relevant departments.
• Ensure purchased goods meet required quality standards and follow up on orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the hotel/hospitality industry (minimum 2 years).
• Good knowledge of hotel supplies, food & beverage procurement, and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures and inventory management.
• Computer literate with good MS Excel skills.
• Honest, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
