Regional Advisor – Kenya for International Recruitment

About the role

The Regional Advisor will support Buckinghamshire New University’s Global Collaborations Office by expanding the university’s brand and student recruitment in Kenya and the wider East African region. Reporting to the International Recruitment Manager, the role combines market development, stakeholder management, and partnership building.

Key responsibilities

• Implement market‑specific recruitment strategies to achieve regional enrolment targets.
• Strengthen BNU’s presence across Kenya and East Africa through relationship building with schools, agents, and other partners.
• Identify and develop new partnership opportunities that align with the university’s growth objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Admissions, Compliance, and Academic teams to ensure responsible and effective recruitment practices.
• Travel throughout Kenya and neighboring markets; attend occasional meetings in the UK.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international student recruitment or higher‑education market development.
• Degree‑level education, preferably obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven relationship‑management ability.
• Experience working in an international education environment and willingness to travel frequently.
