Reproductive Health Officer - Part Time

About the role

Penda Health is expanding its Reproductive Health clinic and seeks a dedicated Reproductive Health Officer to join the team on a part‑time basis. You will provide comprehensive reproductive health services, ensure accurate diagnosis and referral, and help grow the clinic’s reach within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full reproductive health assessments, including medical and sexual history, contraceptive counseling, and STI testing.
• Provide contraception management, pre‑conception counseling, and pregnancy‑options counseling.
• Perform routine gynecological examinations such as Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
• Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other Penda Health providers to ensure coordinated, continuous care.
• Deliver virtual reproductive health consultations in partnership with Pigia Penda and medical centres.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase clinic utilisation and outreach.

Required profile

• At least 1 year post‑training experience in reproductive health or a related clinical field.
• Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and high‑quality care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
