About the role
Join a dynamic retail environment in Westlands, Nairobi, as a Sales Assistant. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product queries and guide them to merchandise.
- Process payments using cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Restock shelves, maintain visual displays and assist with inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate price labels and ensure they are up‑to‑date.
- Keep the store clean, tidy and organized.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promotions.
Required profile
- Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.
- One month of relevant experience or willingness to learn on the job.
Required skills
- Point‑of‑sale (POS) systems operation.
- Cash register handling.
