Senior Regional Manager – Chief of Staff & Product Lead

About the role

Mercy Corps is seeking a senior executive to lead the Office of the Program Directors for the Jobtech Alliance. The role combines chief‑of‑staff responsibilities with product leadership to ensure strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and the delivery of a sector‑leading ecosystem intelligence platform across multiple African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategy development and quarterly OKR design, management and review across the program.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental communication, performance‑management systems and cultural initiatives.
• Support team structure decisions, hiring and integration with Mercy Corps procurement and finance systems.
• Lead the design, development and maintenance of the Jobtech Alliance Ecosystem Intelligence system, ensuring it improves engagement, automates internal processes and serves as a decision‑making engine.
• Collaborate with venture‑support teams, manage website updates, define technical maintenance models and oversee external contractors.
• Lead special projects such as market expansion, new opportunity assessments and targeted program support.
