About the role

The International School (Pearson Edexcel) is seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver Spanish, Geography, History and Kiswahili to IGCSE students. You will create engaging lessons, support exam preparation and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Spanish, Geography, History and Kiswahili to IGCSE learners.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback and prepare them for examinations.
• Promote language proficiency, critical thinking and cultural awareness.
• Integrate ICT resources to enhance classroom instruction.
• Participate in school programmes, extracurricular activities and maintain accurate academic records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Education.
• Experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum (Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel).
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Minimum three years of relevant teaching experience.
• Clean child‑protection record.
• Strong curriculum and classroom‑management knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils.
• Experience handling candidate classes is preferred.
