Student Counsellor – International Education (Nairobi)

About the role

We are expanding our Nairobi team and need a dedicated professional to guide prospective students from their first enquiry through to boarding the plane. The role involves advising on study destinations, managing applications, and supporting visa and pre‑departure processes for students aiming to study abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on suitable study destinations, courses and university options.
• Manage the full application cycle from initial enquiry to admission confirmation.
• Assist students with visa documentation and pre‑departure preparation.
• Represent the organization at education fairs, school visits and information sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges and student communities across Nairobi.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a study‑abroad counsellor, university admissions officer, student services staff or education sales professional.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Currently based in Nairobi.
• Familiarity with UK, Europe, Canada or Australia admissions and visa processes is an advantage.
• Confidence presenting to groups of students, parents and school partners.
