Teacher for French/History

About the role

Harton Grange Academy is seeking a dedicated Teacher for French and History to join its Nairobi Westlands campus. The successful candidate will deliver the British International Curriculum to secondary‑level learners, fostering a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess French and History lessons in line with the British International Curriculum.
• Develop engaging learning resources and employ 21st‑century pedagogical practices.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to at least one co‑curricular activity, enhancing the school’s extracurricular programme.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive learning community.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the British International Curriculum.
• Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Demonstrated professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
