Tele Sales Executive – Mandarin Speaking (Nairobi)

About the role

The Tele Sales Executive (Mandarin speaking) will be the primary contact for DHL tele‑sales customers in Kenya, driving revenue growth, customer retention and service excellence through proactive telephone‑based sales and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of tele‑sales customers, conducting regular call cycles to secure new business, retain existing accounts and meet sales targets.
• Build strong relationships to maximise account potential, reduce attrition and limit competitor opportunities.
• Drive revenue through upselling, cross‑selling, prospect conversion and opening profitable new accounts.
• Provide customer‑focused sales and post‑sales support, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and service requirements.
• Collaborate with sales channels and internal DHL departments to maintain cost‑effective service delivery and achieve area targets.
• Prepare and execute a personal sales plan focused on new business development and growth within the existing customer base.
• Maintain accurate customer records and produce daily/weekly productivity and sales effectiveness reports.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably tele‑sales or customer relationship management.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Strong telephone, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and internal departments while maintaining accurate records.
