Telesales Agent – Empower Kenya’s Small Retailers

About the role

We are looking for a high‑energy Telesales Agent to join 4G Capital’s Nairobi team. You will act as the direct link between micro‑retailers and the KUZA credit product, helping small businesses obtain the working capital they need.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑impact outbound calls to prospect, convert and onboard micro‑retailers onto the KUZA credit product.
• Follow up on warm leads, manage the sales pipeline and guide applicants through credit checks and initial disbursements.
• Conduct early‑stage repayment follow‑ups to protect portfolio quality and support merchants in building credit habits.
• Use auto‑dialers and CRM systems to record interactions, ensure compliance with KYC/KYB and data‑privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field, or KCSE with relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of proven success in a target‑driven telesales, outbound call‑center or collections role.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili with strong communication skills.
• Resilient, persuasive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using auto‑dialer tools.
• Knowledge of KYC/KYB compliance procedures.
