Trade Marketer – Retail & Beauty Sales

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Trade Marketer to boost retail performance for a fast‑growing beauty and wellness brand. You will be responsible for increasing product visibility, driving sales, and building strong relationships with stockists, beauty advisors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Drive sell‑through across retail stockists and identify growth opportunities.
• Visit retail outlets regularly to monitor stock levels, product visibility, merchandising and shelf performance.
• Build strong relationships with store managers, retail teams and beauty advisors.
• Secure re‑orders, upsell products and follow up outstanding retailer orders.
• Close sales via WhatsApp, telephone, email and digital leads.
• Follow up previous customers, enquiries and dormant leads to generate repeat purchases.
• Support in‑store activations, promotions, product demonstrations and customer education.
• Follow up collections and outstanding retailer payments.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report on leads, conversions, orders, revenue and collections.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, customer preferences, pricing and retail trends.

Required profile

• Previous experience in trade marketing, retail sales, field sales or business development.
• Experience within cosmetics, skincare, haircare, personal care, beauty or FMCG is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail execution, merchandising and sell‑through.
• Confident building relationships with stockists, store managers and frontline retail teams.
• Strong sales closing and follow‑up skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, commercially aware and target‑driven.
