About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic waitstaff to join our restaurant team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality service, manage cash transactions, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for all guests.
Key responsibilities
- Take orders and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Communicate with customers to confirm satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area.
- Process payments by cash, card, vouchers or electronic methods and issue accurate receipts.
- Count cash drawers at shift start and ensure adequate change is available.
- Greet guests, keep checkout areas orderly, and handle price inquiries.
- Redeem food stamps, coupons and trading stamps as required.
Required profile
- Professional qualification in Food and Beverage from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Diploma in food and beverage production and service (preferred).
- Honest, trustworthy and strong interpersonal abilities.
Required skills
- Cash handling and POS operation.
