Waiter/Waitress – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer‑oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team in Nanyuki. The successful candidate will deliver prompt, courteous service in a fast‑paced dining environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, noting any dietary requirements.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly with proper presentation.
• Recommend specials and complementary items to enhance the guest experience.
• Check on guests during service, resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments, including cash, card and mobile payments such as M‑Pay.
• Clear tables, maintain cleanliness of the dining area and follow hygiene standards.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to multitask, handle several tables and work efficiently under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
