Youth Coordinator – Kisii (Local User & Content Administrator)

About the role

The Youth Coordinator will act as a Local User and Content Administrator (LUCA) in Kisii, mobilising young people and producing digital media to support the CSEA and GBV Prevention and Response Support Programme. This on‑site, entry‑level position combines community engagement with storytelling to drive positive social change.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage digital content (videos, graphics, social media posts) that raise awareness about CSEA and GBV prevention.
• Mobilise and coordinate youth groups for community‑based activities and occasional field engagements.
• Serve as a liaison between the programme and local youth, ensuring strong community connections and effective communication.

Required profile

• Young person living in or strongly linked to Kisii or one of the 14 target counties.
• Understanding of the local youth, creative and community ecosystem.
• Interest or experience in filmmaking, digital content creation, social media, community mobilisation, journalism or storytelling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work confidentially and responsibly.
