Youth Coordinator – Tana River (Local User & Content Administrator)

About the role

Youth Coordinators in Tana River will serve as Local User and Content Administrators, mobilising young people and creating digital content to support Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) and Gender‑Based Violence (GBV) prevention and community engagement. The role is on‑site, within an NGO media and community‑development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise young people and facilitate community‑based activities.
• Create and manage digital content that supports CSEA and GBV prevention programmes.
• Act as a local user and content administrator, supporting field engagements and outreach.

Required profile

• Young person living in or strongly linked to Tana River or one of the 14 target counties.
• Understanding of the local youth, creative and community ecosystem.
• Experience or interest in filmmaking, digital content creation, social media, community mobilisation, communications, journalism, arts or storytelling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mobilise and work effectively with other young people.
• Integrity, responsibility and respect for confidentiality.
• Comfortable using digital and social media platforms.
• Interest in CSEA/GBV prevention, child protection, SRHR, youth empowerment or community development.
