Chicken Field Sales Representative

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring Chicken Field Sales Representatives in Kitengela. The role involves visiting customers in the HORECA sector and other chicken and meat markets to sell broiler chicken products, build a strong customer pipeline and achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new customers in the HORECA sector and other suitable chicken/meat markets and develop relationships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, butcheries, food outlets, institutions and other bulk buyers.
• Visit customers and prospects in the field to generate orders and grow sales, presenting and promoting broiler chicken products.
• Negotiate prices, volumes, payment terms and other commercial requirements within approved company guidelines.
• Follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, payments and customer feedback, and handle complaints professionally.
• Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, products and market trends and report back to management.
• Work with operations and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment, and keep accurate records of visits, leads, orders and sales performance.
• Provide regular sales reports and market intelligence to the Sales Manager and represent the company professionally at customer meetings and industry events.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, Agriculture or a related field is an advantage.
• 2+ years of proven field sales experience, preferably in HORECA, food, meat, poultry, FMCG or related sectors.
• Demonstrable experience selling to hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers or institutional customers, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with B2B sales and customer acquisition; existing HORECA relationships are highly advantageous.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory is an added advantage.
