Full Charge Bookkeeper (CPA) – Remote

About the role

Remote Raven is seeking a full‑time, remote Full Charge Bookkeeper (CPA) to support a US‑based accounting firm that serves small‑business clients in construction, oil & gas, and wellness sectors. The successful candidate will manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping, set up QuickBooks Online files, and deliver accurate financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including daily transaction entry, reconciliations, AP/AR management, and month‑end close.
• Maintain construction job costing, track labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment, and support WIP reporting and progress billing.
• Prepare and present monthly profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash‑flow packages, highlighting variances and coordinating with external CPAs.

Required profile

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (company setup, chart of accounts design, class tracking, reconciliations, reporting).
• Proven experience managing full‑cycle bookkeeping for diverse clients, with specific construction bookkeeping and job‑costing expertise.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑directed, organized, and excellent written communication for client‑facing summaries.
