Full-time Accountant – Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join TPA Marketing Services Limited’s finance team in Nairobi. The role is full-time and will support the hospitality business by ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with Kenyan regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, preparing balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and reconcile general ledger discrepancies.
• Prepare and file tax returns while staying current with tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
• 1‑4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software – QuickBooks, SAP or Odoo.
