About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive sustainable, profitable growth of Highland Brewing Company’s craft‑beer portfolio across our regional distribution footprint. You will focus on building strong relationships with chain and key strategic accounts in the convenience, small‑format and on‑premise channels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage assigned key accounts, focusing on emerging opportunities and strategic placements to drive profitable volume growth.
- Execute sales and marketing plans aligned with distribution, revenue, and brand objectives, securing new distribution for priority SKUs in small‑format and on‑premise outlets.
- Build long‑term relationships with store owners, managers and buyers, supporting seasonal resets, pricing changes, new item launches and promotional programs.
- Collaborate with distributors as the primary point of contact, conducting market visits, ride‑withs and sales training, and holding partners accountable for execution.
- Partner with internal market managers to train independent convenience channels and ensure best‑in‑class retail execution.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing key accounts in the convenience or on‑premise channel, with a strong understanding of limited shelf space and high‑velocity SKUs.
- Passion for craft beer and brand building, with the ability to translate market insights into growth opportunities.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with store owners, managers, buyers and distributor partners.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and drive market‑share gains.
