Operations Manager - Guarding and Canine

About the role

The Operations Manager – Guarding and Canine will lead daily security operations, ensuring that guarding and canine services meet client expectations and operational standards. This role combines strategic planning, client relationship management, and hands‑on supervision of security personnel and dog teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations and enforce security protocols and operational guidelines.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the deployment of guards and security dogs to satisfy client needs.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and performance standards to improve service delivery.
• Work directly with clients to grow the customer base and generate new business opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise security guards and canine handlers in partnership with HR.
• Conduct regular training programs, including onboarding, on‑the‑job, and refresher sessions.
• Investigate, document, and resolve incidents, providing clients with performance reports.
• Oversee the care, training, and ethical treatment of security dogs, coordinating with external trainers.
• Report to the General Manager and perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in security operations, including guarding and/or canine services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• High integrity, strategic vision, and commercial acumen.
