Peer Reviewer – Nutrition (PhD) – Part‑time Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced researcher with a PhD in Nutrition or a related field to join our editorial team as a part‑time peer reviewer. This long‑term, stable position allows you to work remotely while contributing to the quality of scholarly publications.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and relevance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Nutrition or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review platforms.
