Social Media Marketer

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Social Media Marketer to strengthen the company's digital presence, promote its products and brand across social media platforms, and create engaging content that drives customer awareness, engagement and business opportunities. The role sits within the building materials, construction and home improvement industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's social media platforms and keep content consistent, professional and engaging
• Create content calendars, photos, videos, reels, stories, product features, promotional posts and captions
• Respond promptly to comments, messages, mentions and inquiries
• Develop and run digital campaigns for products, services and offers, acting as a visible brand representative during campaigns, product shoots, videos, showroom activations and events
• Promote products such as ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, furniture and other building and interior finishing solutions
• Coordinate photo and video shoots and work with influencers, photographers and videographers where needed
• Engage followers, encourage user-generated content and referrals, and turn engagement into qualified leads
• Track reach, engagement, follower growth, inquiries and leads, prepare regular reports and recommend improvements

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing, brand promotion, digital marketing or communications
• Proven success managing multiple platforms and creating engaging digital content
• Experience in retail, construction, building materials, interior design or furniture is an added advantage

Required skills

• Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp Business
• Content creation, photography, videography or basic graphic design is an advantage
