Enterprise Account Manager (Public Sector) – East Africa

About the role

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to drive adoption of Amazon Web Services within the public sector across East Africa. You will work with government agencies, NGOs and other public‑sector organisations to position AWS as their preferred technology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to grow AWS business in the East African public sector.
• Manage multiple public‑sector accounts simultaneously, building long‑term relationships.
• Articulate compelling value propositions for AWS services and accelerate customer adoption.
• Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive joint solutions.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting revenue targets.
• Travel as required, limited to the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years of technology‑related sales, business development or sales engineering experience.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience managing public‑sector accounts.
