French Teacher

About the role

Diamond Junior School is seeking a passionate French Teacher to deliver engaging French lessons across two campuses. The role involves fostering language proficiency, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting co‑curricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow termly schemes of work for the French curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and deliver daily French lessons to all learners.
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learner needs.
• Use visual and audio resources to enhance language acquisition.
• Assign, mark and provide feedback on learner work.
• Maintain a fun and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Supervise learners during activities inside and outside the classroom.
• Assess and record learner performance through tests and grading.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide targeted support.
• Participate in occasional education seminars.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Arts) with French or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience (36 months).
• Willingness to work at both South B Campus (Nairobi) and Athi River Campus.
• Strong commitment to the school’s values and mission.

• Monthly salary between KES 30,000 and 45,000.
