About the role
The International School following the Pearson Edexcel curriculum seeks a dedicated Mathematics and Physics teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to IGCSE students. You will play a key role in preparing learners for examinations while fostering a dynamic, technology‑enhanced classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Physics according to the IGCSE Pearson Edexcel syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, assessment tools, and practical activities.
- Prepare students for examinations and monitor academic progress.
- Integrate ICT‑based learning approaches and practical experiments.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide activities.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Education.
- Minimum three (3) years of teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel curricula.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Clean child protection record.
- Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and pupils.
Required skills
- Good ICT skills.
