Multicolor Machine Technician

About the role

Jotun Kenya is seeking a Multicolor Machine Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for its tinting machines across dealer sites and the central warehouse. The role focuses on maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring smooth operations that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of Jotun Multicolor tinting machines and mixers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical equipment issues promptly.
• Install complete Multicolor concepts, including shop‑in‑shop elements, at dealer locations in coordination with the sales team.
• Maintain accurate service and installation logs, tracking spare parts usage and inventory movements.
• Conduct training sessions for dealer operators on safe and efficient equipment use.
• Stay updated on new Multicolor system updates and apply improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Experience with tinting machines or similar automated equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Strong initiative, organizational awareness and effective communication skills.
