About the role
The University seeks a dedicated Professor of Clinical Psychology to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, contribute to curriculum development, and advance research in the field.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and assess courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in clinical psychology.
- Mentor and support students in academic and career matters.
- Participate in curriculum design and program assessment to keep offerings current and marketable.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct scholarly research in your area of expertise.
- Engage in service activities for the university, profession, and community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Earned Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD or equivalent) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral level.
- Relevant publication record meeting CUE standards.
- Registration with the Counselors and Psychologists Board of Kenya (or equivalent) is preferred.
