Senior Brand Manager - Spirits

About the role

The Senior Brand Manager – Spirits will own the growth, profitability and long‑term equity of EABL’s spirits portfolio across East Africa. You will lead the development and execution of the Marketing Business Plan (MBP), translating consumer insights and market trends into compelling brand strategies and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, own and deliver the annual MBP, setting volume, revenue and market‑share targets.
• Manage the full marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of Advertising & Promotion spend.
• Monitor market share, competitor activity and adjust tactics to protect and grow brand position.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure consistent, high‑impact in‑market execution.
• Track campaign performance against KPIs, using data‑driven analysis to optimise results.
• Report on financial accountability, delivering on volume, revenue and profitability objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level brand management experience, preferably in the beverage or spirits sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and drive decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, forward‑thinking attitude.
