Study Abroad Advisor – International Admissions & Visas

About the role

We are expanding our Nairobi office and are looking for an experienced Study Abroad Advisor to guide students and parents through the entire admissions and visa process. This commercial role focuses on international education, helping candidates select destinations, universities and courses, and supporting them to secure enrolment and visas.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students and parents on study destinations, universities and course options.
• Manage applications from document collection to submission, offer handling and enrolment.
• Prepare student visa applications and coach candidates for interview preparation.
• Liaise directly with partner university admissions teams.
• Handle walk‑in enquiries, school visits and education fairs while meeting monthly enrolment targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1.5 years experience in study abroad advising within an education agency, university office or admissions team.
• Hands‑on admissions and visa experience for at least two regions (e.g., UK, Ireland, Schengen Europe, Canada, Australia, USA).
• Established working relationships with university admissions teams.
• Comfortable communicating with parents as well as students.
• Currently residing in Nairobi and able to work onsite.
