Superintendent Pharmacist / Quality & Regulatory Lead

About the role

CPAT Technologies is partnering with Kenya's Ministry of Health to export Canadian pharmaceutical traceability technology, train pharmacists, and bring Canadian medicines to the Kenyan market. We are seeking a Superintendent Pharmacist / Quality & Regulatory Lead to lead this work on the ground in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the registered superintendent pharmacist on CPAT's importer/wholesale premises licence.
• Lead product registration dossiers for Canadian medicines with the national regulator.
• Build the quality management system, including GDP, SOPs, cold chain, recalls and pharmacovigilance.
• Oversee import permits, inspections and batch release.
• Help shape pharmacist training and advise on dispensing workflows for the traceability programme.
• Work with the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya and other professional bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, registered and licensed with the Kenyan pharmacy regulator.
• 7+ years in pharmaceutical import, wholesale, regulatory affairs or quality assurance.
• Proven experience compiling product registration dossiers.
• Strong knowledge of Good Distribution Practice and pharmacovigilance.
