Volunteer Faculty – Theology (Full‑time)

About the role

Africa Nazarene University seeks a dedicated Volunteer Faculty member to join its Theology department on a full‑time basis. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, delivering high‑quality teaching, and supporting student research and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a high‑quality theology curriculum.
• Review and update course outlines, create lesson plans, and prepare learning materials for both contact and online delivery.
• Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments, and laboratory sessions to enhance student learning.
• Design and implement learning assessment plans.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students, including internships and research projects.
• Conduct departmental research, publish findings, and participate in grant writing and collaborations.
• Provide academic and career advising to students as needed.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and market outreach activities.
• Support departmental administrative and field operations.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant theological field, or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning, and research abilities.
