Accounting Clerk / Junior Accountant

About the role

Blueprint Design & Build Ltd. is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk / Junior Accountant to support its finance function. You will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records and accounting systems.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments and other financial transactions.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, management accounts and cost tracking for projects.
• Support VAT, PAYE and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with payroll administration and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance.
• CPA Part II or higher is an advantage.
• Experience in construction, engineering or design industries is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid bookkeeping and financial reporting abilities.
