About the role

A well-established, EARB-registered real estate agency in Nairobi, with over thirteen years of history, is seeking a senior leader to take full operational control. The agency covers residential and commercial property sales, lettings and property management, and has a steady lead pipeline through a partnership with a leading architectural firm. The Agency Principal runs the business day-to-day, with a pathway to partnership for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Day-to-day operational management of the agency
• Recruitment, development and retention of the agent team
• Business development with clients, developers and landlords
• Revenue, margin and pipeline oversight
• Compliance with EARB requirements and professional standards
• Joint strategic planning with the directors
• Adoption of modern agency workflows and tools

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of verifiable experience in Nairobi real estate sales, property management or agency operations
• Track record of building and retaining agent or sales teams
• Active network of clients, developers, landlords or corporate buyers in Nairobi
• Prior experience running or co-running a business, or a senior role with P&L accountability
• Desirable: experience across residential sales, rentals, diaspora clients and developer off-plan; EARB registration or eligibility
