AI Expert – Digital Transformation in Private Equity

About the role

Join Mutares to lead AI-driven digital transformation across its private‑equity portfolio. You will identify high‑impact AI opportunities, design scalable solutions, and ensure they are reusable across multiple portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops to surface AI use cases such as automation, analytics, NLP and generative AI.
• Define, prioritize and prototype AI solutions based on business impact, feasibility and effort.
• Design scalable architectures and ensure cross‑portfolio reusability of AI assets.
• Oversee implementation, including vendor selection, team coordination and technical validation.
• Develop toolkits and frameworks that accelerate AI adoption throughout Mutares and its portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field with strong academic results.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering large‑scale AI or digital‑transformation projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on approach.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to four days per week and work in an international setting.
