About the role
We are seeking an AI Output Tester to ensure the accuracy of internal advisory documents and governance reports. This part‑time contract position supports JHC Consulting’s quality‑assurance workflow from Kenya, acting as the final checkpoint before documents enter the final review stage.
Key responsibilities
- Review internal advisory drafts, board pack summaries, and governance notes for factual consistency and logical flow.
- Check specific claims against source material such as interview notes, primary research data, and regulatory texts.
- Identify and flag unsupported or unclear statements in draft reports.
- Verify names, dates, financial figures, and technical terms match raw archival data.
- Follow a detailed review checklist within the shared document workspace.
- Document recurring linguistic or factual issues to help refine drafting instructions.
- Escalate ambiguous cases or conflicting data points to the documentation lead.
- Maintain consistency across review cycles for different client accounts.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent professional experience in a field requiring rigorous analytical writing.
- 2–3 years of experience in proofreading, editorial quality assurance, business documentation, or research.
- Strong written English skills with professional vocabulary and grammatical precision.
- Ability to maintain focus while reading dense, complex corporate documents for extended periods.
- Experience identifying subtle contradictions or missing evidence in written arguments.
- Familiarity with corporate governance terminology or general management concepts.
