AjiraForSHE Internship – Digital Savings & Project Support

About the role

This internship supports the AjiraForSHE project by promoting digital saving and loan platforms, assisting communication, and providing operational support across finance, HR, and IT functions.

Key responsibilities

• Help beneficiaries adopt digital saving and loan platforms within saving groups.
• Assist the communication team with project documentation and social media content creation, including drafting posts, designing posters, and analyzing digital metrics.
• Enter field data into ActivityInfo and support the MEAL manager in designing and updating monitoring tools.
• Collect, analyse, and organise program data, and share impact findings with the team and stakeholders.
• Support the finance team with data entry in Dynamics and aid HR in digitising paper records.
• Participate in Ajira digital trainings, external events, and general IT‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Project Design, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Commerce or related field.
• Young women aged 18‑35 years.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time‑management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
