All‑Round House Manager (Live‑in)

About the role

The All‑Round House Manager will live on‑site in Westlands, Nairobi and ensure the entire residence remains clean, safe and well‑stocked. This full‑time position combines housekeeping, laundry, kitchen support and general facility upkeep, providing a comfortable environment for staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of all areas, including floors, surfaces, windows and furniture.
• Manage waste disposal, restock cleaning supplies and maintain hygiene standards in line with infection‑control protocols.
• Run full laundry services – sorting, washing, drying and folding linens, towels and other fabrics.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow food‑safety procedures, store and label food items correctly and prepare basic refreshments such as tea and snacks.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning agents, toiletries and kitchen consumables; coordinate replenishment with relevant personnel.
• Support staff by delivering materials or equipment between areas and communicate any specific maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Age between 26 and 35 years.
• Completed Form 4; college or university graduates are also welcome.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in housekeeping, facility or hospitality operations.
• Willingness to live on‑site and adapt to a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitisation techniques.
• Basic food‑safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and perform laundry operations.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
