Area Coordinator – Lower Western (Tupande)

About the role

The Lower Western Area Coordinator will act as the entrepreneurial architect of the Tupande territory, leading a sales team to scale retail impact and drive revenue for smallholder farmers. Reporting to senior management, you will combine strategic planning with data‑driven execution in a fast‑growing, mission‑led organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with your manager to maximise business results in the assigned territory.
• Recruit, train and manage a sales team across the Lower Western region.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales, repayment and impact targets.
• Conduct market research to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Monitor and analyse sales data, adjusting tactics based on trends.
• Collaborate with marketing and other functions to create promotions and campaigns.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance monitoring for sales representatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in target setting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within an agricultural or related industry.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
