Assistant Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support our Corporate Banking team at I&M Bank. The role involves assisting senior managers in managing corporate client relationships, processing credit applications, and ensuring compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer queries and gather required information.
• Analyse credit applications and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate security documentation with the Legal Department.
• Disburse facilities and collect processing fees/commissions.
• Monitor covenant compliance and sanction terms.
• Prepare and sign bank documents such as letters of offer, guarantees, NDAs, and CMA discharges.
• Cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Provide timely feedback on client requests.
• Conduct new business canvassing and obtain approvals.
• Visit regular clients, review performance and submit call reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in corporate banking or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in Banking, Finance, Credit, Risk Management or membership in a recognized professional body.
• Strong leadership, business development and relationship management capabilities.
• High integrity, ethics and accountability.
