About the role
The Associate Advocate will work full‑time on‑site at our Nairobi office, supporting the firm’s legal practice across various areas of law. You will draft and review legal documents, conduct research, and represent clients under senior guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, pleadings, opinions and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on local and international matters.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in negotiations and prepare case strategies.
- Liaise with clients to gather instructions and provide updates.
Required profile
- Admission to practice law in Kenya and in good standing.
- LL.B degree from a recognised institution; professional training preferred.
- Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Legal research tools.
- Office software (e.g., MS Office).
