About the role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for our clients in Nairobi. The role involves planning, executing, and reviewing audits while ensuring compliance with professional standards and client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and conduct audit engagements in line with client expectations.
- Complete assignments within budgeted timelines.
- Review audit working papers of team members before submission.
- Assess and test internal controls and identify improvement areas.
- Draft management letters and recommend effective changes.
- Prepare and review tax computations, wear and tear, and other allowances as required.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff throughout the audit process.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit firm, including at least 2 years as an Audit Senior.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Strong knowledge of IAS.
