Automotive Hotline Technician (m/f/d)

About the role

Join TecAlliance’s global automotive data team as an Automotive Hotline Technician. You will provide real‑time technical assistance to workshop customers, helping them diagnose and resolve complex electronic faults in a variety of vehicle powertrains.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate support to mechanics via phone or digital platforms for issues related to CAN networks, sensors, actuators and control units.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, scan tools and automotive multimeters.
• Apply structured diagnostic methodologies and propose effective solutions based on data and experience.
• Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to technical knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve support processes.

Required profile

• Technical training in electromechanics, automotive technician certification or a degree in automotive engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in advanced vehicle diagnostics within workshops or specialised service centres.
• Familiarity with conventional, hybrid and electric powertrains.
• Fluent in Italian and English (B2+); additional languages are a plus.
