About the role
VSF Germany is looking for a reliable Boat/Field Vehicle Driver to support operations in Fangak County, South Sudan. The role involves transporting staff, equipment, and supplies using both boats and land vehicles, ensuring safe and timely delivery across challenging terrain.
Key responsibilities
- Operate boats and field vehicles to transport personnel, goods, and equipment.
- Maintain vehicle and boat condition through regular inspections and basic maintenance.
- Plan routes, assess travel conditions, and adapt to changing environments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep accurate logs of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicles used.
- Experience operating boats and off‑road vehicles in remote settings.
- Ability to work independently and handle logistical challenges.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.
