Bobtail Driver – LPG Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a safety‑conscious Bobtail Driver to deliver LPG to customers from our Kabati plant. The role combines vehicle operation, strict compliance with HSE procedures, and real‑time reporting via a mobile application.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the plant at 6 AM for assigned shifts and conduct daily tears and gross weight measurements.
• Perform pre‑trip checks, ensure all statutory licences, EPRA & NTSA permits, insurance and vehicle branding are up to date.
• Drive the truck safely to delivery points, adhering to the Kenya Traffic Act and company SOPs.
• Submit real‑time delivery reports through the mobile app and map customer locations.
• Support maintenance activities, complete checklists, and keep the vehicle clean and service‑ready.
• Handle accidents or incidents promptly and maintain required safety equipment (first‑aid kit, fire extinguisher, tool kit).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years driving experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Valid Class CD/CE driving licence and EPRA licence.
• KCSE certificate and Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Certificate of good conduct and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong time‑management, resilience and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS devices and smartphones for navigation and reporting.
• Ability to use a mobile application for real‑time data entry.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and Kenya Traffic Act compliance.
