Branch Manager

About the role

Stratostaff East Africa is hiring a Branch Manager in Mombasa. The role covers business development from lead generation to deal closure, account management, and overall branch leadership, working closely with the operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake business development from lead generation to deal closure in line with set targets
• Manage key accounts by maintaining and growing market share with new and existing clients
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Build and maintain client and associate relationships with the operations team, contributing to quality service delivery
• Enhance profitability by maintaining or increasing profit margins
• Direct operational aspects including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans; manage the budget and allocate funds
• Train, coach and motivate branch staff, and share knowledge with other branches and headquarters
• Follow up clients in the CRM and address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Comply with regulations and laws, network to improve the branch's reputation, and report on market movement and competition

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in sales, operations or client services
• Strong understanding of sales, financial management and customer service
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
• Expertise in building and maintaining key client relationships
