Business Analyst - Consulting

About the role

Altima delivers end-to-end business transformation engagements, from strategy to leadership solutions. As part of its growth plan, it is looking for a self-driven, organized, experienced and ambitious Business Analyst to join its Consulting Division in Nairobi, reporting to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research on clients and markets
• Carry out preliminary business development, including lead identification and sales follow-ups
• Prepare marketing documentation such as expressions of interest and client proposals
• Interview clients and stakeholders and propose solutions to their problems
• Coordinate tasks with part-time consultants
• Prepare client reports and ensure projects meet client specifications and deadlines
• Plan, design and carry out industry research, including competitive and financial analysis
• Compile market intelligence reports
• Facilitate training preparations and attend client workshops

Required profile

• University degree in a business-related field or economics
• At least 2 years of work experience, particularly in research, finance or marketing
• Project management skills
• Ability to develop and deliver high-quality research
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional qualifications in accounting or human resources are an added advantage
