Business Development Executive – Electrical & Security Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth of our electrical and security solutions in Eldoret. The role combines client‑facing activities, market research and collaboration with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and deliver product/service presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to align solutions with client requirements.
• Monitor market trends, contribute to sales strategy and business planning.
• Maintain accurate activity records in CRM and report on performance against targets.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and business planning abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in electrical, security or related technical fields.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a hybrid work environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software.
• Experience using CRM or sales management tools.
